John M. Rouse
John Rouse is president and CEO of the Rouse Group Development Company, L.P. He has worked in the heavy construction field for over 45 years focusing on commercial, industrial, institutional and heavy highway construction. In 1985, John began developing commercial properties and residential communities, one of which is centered around a golf course. In 1998, he co-founded and became president of MidAtlantic Energy, a company building gas-fired power plants in Pennsylvania. Mr. Rouse is one of the founding members of Eagle Downs Flat Racing Association in Pennsylvania, started in 1966. He is also a 25-year board member of Eagle Downs Flat Racing at Keystone Race Track (now known as Philadelphia Park). He has served on numerous boards and is a former chairman of the U.S. Ski Team Fund, Greater Delaware Valley. John is a life-long resident of Haverford, PA, with his wife, Dolores. They have a daughter and two sons. John is, and has been, a very large supporter, and active in, the Philadelphia Ball and Philadelphia Golf Tournament for the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation for over 10 years.
